The meetings will include various topics, from clarifying and defining your vision, to set your creativity free, to examining and evaluating your work. We will discuss about prints vs digital presentations, the importance of focusing on a specific audience and how to create the best final presentation.

My areas of interest are: documentary photography, photojournalism, street photography, visual story-telling, landscape, portrait and self portrait, conceptual photography.

Born in Naples, lives and works in Florence. A graduate in European Languages and Literatures, Alessandra is a photographer, a teacher and a curator of exhibitions. As an artist, she works with a variety of devices, from pinhole, toy, digital cameras, to mobile. She constantly expands her artistic development by experimenting with new digital technologies and alternative printing processes.She teaches photography in Italian and in English for national and international schools and colleges, among others New York University Florence and Studio Arts Colleges International.

As a curator, Alessandra has developed exhibitions of photography and has participated to the creation of festivals of photography in Italy and abroad, such as the International Triennial Festival of Photography Backlight in Tampere and SI-Fest in Savignano sul Rubicone.
She is regularly invited for portfolio reviews, and acts as juror for International Photo Awards and Prizes. She is a regular contributor to the Lens Culture website.
Her photographs are shown nationally and internationally. Her works are in private and public collections, including the Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence, the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris, the MUSINF in Senigallia, and the Museo di Montelupone.
