A home that is not home (on progress)

A photographic essay about the relationship between the place where I live and my photographic practice. As a photographer, I have been mostly working on projects, often abroad, focusing on photographing only in specific moments. This project started as a reaction towards this attitude and a way to find again the feeling of joy of walking around with a camera without a precise assignment. I decided to document my surroundings trying to describe my attachment to it and trying to understand what are the elements that create a sense of belonging to a place. I concentrate on the details that made me feel comfortable and accepted into a space that I considered home.
