I am a photographer and a biochemist. I live and work in Athens.
I took my first lessons in photography in 2008 in the Stereosis Photo School in Thessaloniki (2 years course).
I have attended several courses and workshops with Alec Soth, Anders Petersen, JH Engstorm, Stratos Kalafatis and Pavlos Fysakis.
I have regularly attended in various Athens School of Fine Arts courses about photography conducted every semester since 2016.
My project Lucid Dream has been shown in Photobiennale Thessaloniki (2014) and has presented in the magazine WIP (issue 13) and in the Greek Foundation platform.
These images are narratives in the form of a lucid dream, both conscious and unconscious attempts to illustrate a part of my world. They balance between the boundaries of dream and reality, between memory and the drift of time. There is no sequence or answer. Like playing a card game with friends, my pictures may suggest a different story telling, depending on the editing. Viewers can create their own stories or decide which side of the mirror they belong to. When the location creates the proper atmosphere, I figure out a way to place my subject or integrate myself into the frame. People always remain the dominant feature of the composition.
