In today’s hyperconnected and technology accelerated condition, Rut Panusé aimed to disconnect. Surrounded by a forest of a small and uninhabited island in Sweden, she was able not only to free herself from the normative conventions that rule over the linear time, but this experience allowed her to study the interaction between energy and matter -between light and organisms. There, she glimpsed how the rays of sun filtered through trunks and branches are processed by the trees which have the aim of prolonging their own existence. Perhaps one of the most simple technological processes by which diverse entities such as plants, machines and human beings are indistinguishably linked.
