I explore the relationship between the body and the control tools built around it, a body that is object and subject of protocols, conventions, social, political, cultural, religious. It is focused on the invasion of the public space, locations with cracks and wounds, areas that suppose a damage and restriction of public and private freedoms in relation to body, gender, race and sex issues. I perform for the photographic and video camera in conflict areas, away of traditional art venues, using decontextualization as an aesthetic strategy of radical democratization and community making. We are witnessing XXIst century fascism: end of freedom of expression, dialogue and social cohesion.
