This is a series of photographs that have as theme the urban landscape where the complex geometries of buildings and streets emerge. These images play with the opposition order / disorder. Frames that are too full and "naughty" are juxtaposed with images of an almost scenic order where the urban landscape is treated with a theatrical mood, giving the impression of ephemeral stages waiting for some performance to occur. The absence of man though highlights the frozen time of photography and gives a melancholy mood. The sense of deadlock, of blocked horizon predominates. All photos are taken with an analog film camera and are shown here scanned from negatives.
