Mauve is not yet another shade of the color palette.
According to psychological interpretation, people who love mauve are desperately romantics who maintain a primary childlike sense of wonder of the world. Ιt is widely believed that mauve symbolizes the paradox, the intuitive and is considered the hue of decadence.
This project is an evolving photography work that deals with the introspection process of the individual subconscious as an impact of modern social and culture. I am trying to create a photographed world in a “mauve” mood. It’s an alternative reality dominated by introversion, self-criticism, and meditation.
