Daedalus was imprisoned by king Minos in the Labyrinth that he himself had built by order of the king. Subsequently, however, the legendary architect managed to find an exit from the Labyrinth and flew away.
Daedalus (against walls) is a work in progress that seeks an exit, through the combination (and juxtaposition) of images captured over the last four years; in a constant dialogue with the deceptive nature of the image, it attempts to evoke conceptual and visual networks that invite a confrontation with persistent convictions and definitions.
