Since 2000 he is the director of Musée de la Photographie in Charleroi. He has curated numbers of exhibitions and since 1982 is lecturer in art history at the Ecole supérieure des Arts plastiques et visuels de Mons and in Communication at the University of Mons UCL.
Since 1986 he is the publisher of Les Marées de la Nuit, specialized in surrealism and avant-gardes. Author of various texts and essays in the field of art history, he is Member of the expertise committee of René Magritte-Fondation René Magritte’s work. He commissioned in 2004 at the Sao Paulo Biennale (Brazil) where the photographers Christine Felten and Véronique Massinger were presented. His last exhibitions as curator were Surrealism in Belgium the discreet charm of bourgeoisie Naples-Florida in 2015 and René Magritte The revealing images and author of the eponymous work (Ludion Publishers, 2017). Art historian at l’Université Libre of Brussels. Doctorate in Art History and Archaeology of the Sorbonne (Paris I) with a thesis on Surrealism in Belgium (1950-1993).
